Benefits & Features

Product Introduction:
Resin anchor is a two-component, mortar-like adhesive formulated with unsaturated polyester resin, a curing agent, and an accelerator. It is packaged in rolls separated by polyester film and is an industrial anchoring material primarily used in coal mine tunnel support, tunnel construction, building structure reinforcement, and equipment foundation anchoring.
This material cures quickly at room temperature, offers stable anchoring force, strong fatigue resistance, and is water-resistant, making it suitable for metal or fiberglass anchor rods. Products are categorized by gel time: ultra-fast, fast, medium, and slow. Specifications can be customized based on the drill hole diameter. During construction, it is installed with a drilling tool and is load-bearing after curing. It should be stored away from light and heat at 25°C (shelf life: three months). It is suitable for anchoring in rock formations such as limestone and shale, but is not suitable for highly permeable rock or soft soil.
Product Features:
1. Fast load bearing, with anchoring performance similar to pre-cast steel bars. It features “two fast and one high” properties: a fast curing time (adjustable speed), rapid strength growth, and high strength. After installation, it can not only withstand loads immediately but also provide strong anchoring force.
2. Resin anchors are highly adaptable and can be bonded to a wide range of materials. They can bond irregular, complex, large, thin-plate structures, and can anchor various wood, metal, fiberglass, and other rigid objects.
3. They exhibit excellent fatigue strength. Resin anchors are widely used in structural reinforcement, rock support, equipment foundation fixing, dam crack repair, dry hanging of high-rise building exterior stone, and installation and fixing of metal or curtain wall frames.
4. In addition to the above characteristics, water-resistant resin anchors exhibit rapid strengthening and high strength in the presence of water, preventing water from affecting the resin anchor’s curing rate, compressive strength, and anchoring force.
Scope of Application:
Resin anchors are not only used in shaft support, shaft installation, and prestressed anchor reinforcement for hydropower projects, but also in building reinforcement, highway repair, tunnel construction, foundation rooting, equipment foundations, and component anchoring. Instructions
1. Based on the designed anchor specifications and rod length, drill the hole 60-80mm shorter than the rod’s total length.
2. Use compressed air to remove dust from the eyelet.
3. Based on the designed anchor length, use the rod to deliver the selected anchor to the bottom of the hole. Start the agitator to rotate the rod for 30 ± 5 seconds, advancing it at a constant speed to the bottom of the hole.
4. After removing the agitator, promptly wedge the rod at the hole mouth. Avoid shifting or shaking the rod before curing. This is especially important when installing the top eye. Test the anchoring strength after 15 minutes at the fast speed and 40 minutes at the medium speed.
5. After 7 minutes at the fast speed and 15 minutes at the medium speed, install the support plate, tighten the nut, and then load the hole.
6. Depending on the site’s power conditions, use a pneumatic anchor mixer or an electric coal drill with a connector. Tighten the nut with a pneumatic wrench or a manual wrench. Using an anchor drilling rig facilitates both drilling and anchor installation.
Storage and Transportation
1. Resin anchoring agents should be stored indoors at temperatures below 25°C, out of direct sunlight, and away from sources of ignition.
2. The shelf life is three months at temperatures below 25°C. Expired products may be reused if they are soft to the touch.
3. Anchoring agents are packaged in rigid cardboard boxes and tied with woven bags. Handle with care and avoid dropping.
4. For rail transportation, they may be handled as Class II flammable goods in full truckload or less-than-truckload (LTL) shipping. For truck transportation, protect from rain and direct sunlight.
